Identity is confirmed through the National Identity Number, eligibility is confirmed against that record, and the money is sent straight to a bank account verified in the applicant’s own name. No agent, no queue, no cash envelope.

Who qualifies

A student in a recognised institution (declared on the form — the office confirms enrolment with the school, since no public register can be checked automatically).
Aged 35 or under, confirmed from the date of birth on the NIN record.
A valid NIN whose record returns your name and date of birth.
A bank account in your own name — the account name must match the name on your NIN, because that is the account the money goes to.
A resident of Ojodu LCDA or its environs, reachable on the phone number on your NIN record.

How the money is sent

1You verify your NIN and your bank account in the form. Both are checked against the bank and the identity registry, not against what you type.
2The first 10 applicants who pass every check hold a numbered slot. Later applicants join the waitlist and are called if a slot is released.
3Registered to vote from 2023 onwards? The office's printed ward register stops at 2022, so your voter number is checked with the office's own card-number validator instead — a valid recent number is accepted, and the register name comparison does not apply to you.
4₦10,000 is transferred by instant bank transfer from the office's Paystack balance to the verified account — sent as your application is accepted, not days later. If a transfer is ever rejected by the bank, the office sees it and retries it; you do not apply again.
5When the bank confirms the transfer, the recipient is published here and on the office's WhatsApp and social channels. Transfers stop permanently once all ten are paid.

This is a grant, not a loan: nothing is repaid. The office never asks for a fee, a code or your bank app details — anyone who does is not acting for this office.
