Tell us what you need

Take your time with the last section — the panel reads it most closely. You will receive a reference number by email as soon as you submit. Applying is free and commits you to nothing.

Step 1 · Verify your NIN

We start with your National Identity Number. The name, date of birth and gender on your NIN are fetched from the national identity service and become the details on this application — you do not type them, and they cannot be edited. Have your NIN slip or NIMC card ready.

Your NIN is used to confirm who you are for this application only. It is stored with your application, shown only to authorised staff, and never printed in full on this site.

Step 2 · Your application

Verify your NIN above and the rest of this form will open up with your details already filled in.

Verify your NIN above first — this step then unlocks with your details already filled in.

Locked until your NIN is verified.

Step 3 · Where you are

This programme serves Ojodu LCDA. Your ward helps the office make sure support is spread fairly across the constituency.

The 19-character number on your voter's card. Registered from 2023 onwards? It is checked with the office's own validator instead of the printed register.

Step 4 · Your business or trade

Skip anything that does not apply to you — a trade, a stall or work you do for people all count.

Not being registered does not disqualify you.

Step 5 · What you need

This is the part the panel reads most closely. Be specific and honest — figures, equipment, quantities and what you would do first.

Do any of these apply to you? (optional — used for priority, nothing else)

Step 6 · Your LASSRA ID and declaration

The office uses the information on this form to assess your application and to contact you. It is stored securely, is seen only by authorised staff, and is never sold or shared for advertising. Read the privacy notice.

An automated assistant gives each application a score and a written assessment to help the office read them all consistently. It only recommends — a person at the office decides, and the office contacts shortlisted applicants directly. Nothing on this site awards support automatically.

This programme serves Ojodu LCDA, so we ask for your Lagos State Residents' Registration Agency card as proof that you live or trade here. A clear photo or scan, or a PDF — up to 5 MB.

You will get a reference number by email straight away.

How it works

Four steps, one month at a time

The programme is open to residents and businesses of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos. It is free to apply, and applying does not commit you to anything.

1 · Apply online

Fill the form with your details, your location and exactly what you need support for. You get a reference number by email immediately.

2 · Consistent first reading

Every application is read against the same five criteria — need, impact, feasibility, readiness and equity. An automated assistant scores and summarises each one so no application is skimmed.

3 · The office decides

Each month the panel reviews the applications together. The assistant puts one forward with its reasons; staff weigh it up, and the office decides. No machine awards anything.

4 · Contact and delivery

Shortlisted applicants are contacted on the phone number they gave. Support is handed over in person and recorded, and the office may ask how it went later.

What the panel looks at

So that you can make your application as strong as possible, these are the five things every application is measured on. Write in your own words — a clear, honest application beats a long one.

Need
How pressing the situation is, in the applicant's own words.
Impact
How many people benefit and how long the benefit lasts — a business that hires, a skill that is reused.
Feasibility
Whether the support asked for can realistically produce the outcome described.
Readiness
Evidence of effort and planning: some trading history, costs worked out, a clear next step.
Equity
Whether the applicant is in one of the programme's priority groups or faces a clear barrier to opportunity.

Applications are judged only on what you write and on the criteria above. Ethnicity, religion, region, political affiliation and personal connections play no part, and mentioning them will not help. If you would rather apply in person, visit or call the office (+234 904 910 1934) and a member of staff will fill the form with you.
