A message from the Leader and the House
To a former youth leader who stayed — and became the counsel we depend on.
Today we celebrate Bola Orijajogunlo Muritala, known to many simply as TMoney — a reputable member of our party, a former youth leader, and a party faithful and dependable counsel. He holds no public office. What he holds is the regard of the people he has served alongside for years, and that is not a thing anyone can be appointed to.
There was a time when he led our young people. When that chapter closed he did not leave the party he had served — he stayed, and he has kept showing up since. Parties are not built only by the people who appear when there is something to collect; they are built by members like him, who stay through the quiet stretches as well as the loud ones.
He is also one of the counsels this party depends on: a dependable source of advice, and a man whose word our members can take as given. He holds no public office — his usefulness to our party has never depended on one.
As he marks another year, Bola Muritala, our prayer is for sound health, long life and peace in his household. May God bless the years he has given, and may our party always keep the counsel of members like him.
